Lluka and Apostolova discuss on recent economic relations in the country

Prishtina, 03.10. 2017 – Enhancement of security of energy supply, projects in the sphere of energy efficiency, incuding the efficiency and renewables fund, are some of the issues that should be addressed with increased focus by the Government of Kosovo and MED, said the Minister of Economic Development, Valdrin Lluka, in a meeting conducted with the Head of the European Union Office in Prishtina, Nataliya Apostolova.

Minister Lluka used this occasion to thank the Head of EU Office in Prishtina Apostolova for the continuous support that the European Union gave Kosovo in all phases of its development, adding that the Government of Kosovo will remain engaged towards meeting all EU integration-related obligations, in order to fulfill all of its obligations deriving from the SAA.

On the other hand the Head of EU Office in Prishtina congratulated Minister Lluka on his appointment and said that the European Union is committed to supporting Kosovo in its path of European integrations, emphasizing sectors under MED’s portfolio and the support they will receive through IPA funds.

Minister Lluka informed the Head of EU Office in Prishtina on projects that will be in the specific focus of MED in the future, including that of the construction of Kosova e Re Thermal Power Plant, which will provide stability in electricity supply.
