Mitrovica, 10.04.2023 – All miners have been rescued from the Stantërgu mine via the alternative elevator, while Trepça engineers are working to repair the staff elevator.

Deputy Minister of Economy, Getoar Mjeku, is at the entrance of the mine, along with the CEO of “Trepça” JSC, Enis Abdurrahmani, and members of the Supervisory Board. The condition of miners is good.

Mr. Mjeku thanked the miners and Trepça engineers for their dedication to work and emphasized the Government’s commitment to capital investments to replace old machinery.

The medical team of the enterprise, emergency family medicine team, and regional police commander stayed at the site throughout the day.
