Public call opens: 880 thousand euros for businesses under the Clean Energy Grant Scheme
Prishtina, 09.07.2026 – Phase II of the public call for financial support to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) under the Clean Energy Grant Scheme – Phase II, in the amount of EUR 880 thousand, has been opened.
The scheme aims to support the private sector in investments that contribute to the energy transition, increase energy efficiency, use of renewable sources and reduce the operating costs of businesses.
Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises with primary or secondary activities in production and processing, as well as companies operating in the liberalized electricity market and carrying out activities in these sectors, are eligible to apply.
The grant scheme is implemented through three separate calls, which include the following measures:
– Measure 1: Support for solar energy systems and battery systems for electricity storage;
– Measure 2: Support for energy efficiency measures in business buildings;
– Measure 3: Support for equipment that reduces energy consumption on production lines.
Businesses can apply for each of the three measures (Measure 1, 2 or 3) individually, with a maximum support of up to €20,000 for each single measure. Measures 1 and 2 can each be combined with Measure 3, but in this case the total support cannot exceed the value of €25,000.

The project is implemented by the Ministry of Economy (ME), the Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship, Trade and Innovation (MIETI), respectively the Agency for Investment and Support of Enterprises in Kosovo (KIESA) and the Luxembourg Agency for Development Cooperation (LuxDev).
