The forum was organised by the German-Kosovar Business Association (GKBA) and aims to promote Kosovo’s potential for economic cooperation, attract investment, and facilitate integration into European markets.

In her address, Minister Rizvanolli emphasised the importance of strengthening the economic partnership between Kosovo and Germany, highlighting the potential for further investment and cooperation, particularly in the energy sector.

She stated that Germany has stood alongside Kosovo since its struggle for freedom and independence, supporting the establishment of institutions, economic development, and the advancement of the country’s European perspective. She expressed her expectation that this longstanding relationship would also be reflected in increased investment and cooperation between businesses in both countries.

She added that cooperation opportunities extend beyond project financing to include construction, equipment supply, operation, and maintenance.

In this context, the Minister invited German businesses and investors to prepare for upcoming renewable energy auctions, explore partnership opportunities with local companies, and take advantage of the growing investment potential in energy-efficient heating systems.

The Minister also stated that the aim is to translate the partnership between Kosovo and Germany into successful projects that have a direct impact on the country’s economic development.

The forum brings together representatives of institutions from the Republic of Kosovo and Germany, business representatives, investors, and experts, with the aim of exchanging experiences and identifying new opportunities for economic cooperation.
