The earthquake that hit Albania yesterday was notably felt in Kosovo

Prishtina, 10.04.2022 – Based on the Seismic Network, the Geological Service of Kosovo and the Euro-Mediterranean Seismic Center, as well as the numerical analysis of the seismic event, on 10.04.2022 at 02:58h according to local time, Albania was hit by an earthquake of 2.8 magnitude according to the Richter scale, respectively of grade V-IV of Mercalli intensity scale.
The hypocentric depth was 7 km.

The epicenter of this earthquake was located at 43.34 N; 20.18 E, 9 km in the south-east of Bajram Curri, 15 km in the south-west of Junik, 20 km in the south-west of Gjakova.

The earthquake in question was notably felt by the citizens of zone P and SW of Kosovo.
