Prishtina, 12 October 2026 – Minister of Economy, Artane Rizvanolli, received a delegation from the European Investment Bank (EIB), with whom she discussed the progress of projects supported by this bank through loan agreements, focusing on district heating and renewable energy sources.

During the meeting, developments related to projects under implementation were also discussed, and views were exchanged on opportunities for cooperation in new strategic initiatives and projects in the energy sector.

The EIB representatives reconfirmed the bank’s readiness to support the Government of the Republic of Kosovo in developing new projects, as well as in advancing the processes for loan disbursement.

On her part, Minister Rizvanolli thanked the EIB for its partnership and support to date, emphasizing the importance of close cooperation in implementing investments that contribute to increasing the security of energy supply and accelerating the country’s energy transition.
