Minister Kuçi and UNDP Representative Suokko discuss economic recovery

Prishtina, 24.06.2020 – The Minister of Economy and Environment (MEE), Blerim Kuçi received today the representative of the United Nations Development Program in Kosovo – UNDP, Maria Suokko.

During the meeting, which was introductory by nature, the interlocutors discussed the economic situation in Kosovo created as a result of Covid-19 pandemic.

Minister Kuçi presented the 9 measures envisaged by the Government of Kosovo for economic recovery, for which he requested assistance and coordination of projects from UNDP.

Meanwhile, the UNDP representative in Kosovo, Suokko, promised that all activities in the coming days will be oriented to the assistance of these measures.

She also informed Minister Kuçi about the report that is being finalized, on the assessment of the impact of the pandemic on households and businesses.
