EBRD reconfirms its support for economic projects

Prishtina, 23.03.2017 – The Minister of Economic Development Blerand Stavileci met Elena Petrovska, Director of European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), whereby they discussed investments in economic fields, with special emphasis in the field of energy and mining.

Minister Stavileci also informed Ms. Petrovska about MED projects that are being implemented, including the current stage of the ‘Kosova e Re’ power plant project.

Whereas Elena Petrovska, reconfirmed the support of the EBRD for projects that have impact in the economic development of the country, by emphasising that Kosovo is increasingly creating favourable environment for investments.

Furthermore, she emphasised that EBRD is committed to improving investment climate in Kosovo and supporting initiatives of the government.

Minister Stavileci thanked Ms. Petrovska for the support that EBRD is providing for Kosovo, respectively for economic development.
