Prishtina, 11 April 2014 – Today, the Minister of Economic Development, Fadil Ismajli, had a number of important meetings in Berlin, Germany. At the Federal Ministry of Economy and Energy he met with Mrs. Claudia Dorr-Voss – General Director for European Policies, and Mr. Helge Tolksdorf – Director for EU Enlargement POlciies for Southeast Europe and Turkey.

During this meeting, Minister Ismajli informed German partners on overall developments in Kosovo’s economy, with special emphasis on capital energy projects, respectively on the progress achieved in the TPP Kosova e Re project and other major projects.

German officials thanked Minister Ismajli for his work and encouraged him to continue with a similar pace, especially in important projects such as “Kosova e Re”, “Trepça”, Brezovica.

Minister Ismajli emphasized, being aware of the need to attract potential investors and entice competition, that Kosovo will do all in its power to provide favorable conditions for their entry in Kosovo market, in order to ensure the promotion and advancement of economic development in the country.

To this end, head of MED underlined his expectations and appreciation for the engagement of German Government and companies in Kosovo.
