Germany reemphasizes support for Kosovo’s development projects

Prishtina, 29 January 2014 – Minister of Economic Development Fadil Ismajli, met today Hans Ulrich Sudbeck, Director of the Division for Western Balkans in the German Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs, accompanied by the German Ambassador in Kosovo, Peter Bloomayer.

In the meeting, Minister Ismajli informed Mr. Sudbeck on the Ministry of Economic Development’s objectives, achievements, as well challenges faced by the country’s economy, including special projects of vital significance for its development, such as the future of PTK, Kosova e Re Power Plant project, etc.

For his part, Mr. Sudbeck expressed his readiness to support projects that advance and increase the quality of living for the citizens of Kosovo. Possibilities of involvement of German companies, capital and expertise in Kosovo were also subject of discussions.

Moreover, Minister Ismajli thanked Mr. Sudbeck and Ambassador Bloomayer for the continuous commitment of the German state to support Kosovo.
