A delegation of German companies is staying in Kosovo

Prishtina, 10.12.2013 – A delegation of the Kosovo-German Business Association, headed by Chairman Friedbert Pflüger, including heads of renowned companies from Germany, such as the President of ALSTOM, Alf Henryk Wulf and representative of Roland Berger, Heiko Ammerman, is staying in Kosovo.

The delegation was hosted by the Minister of Economic Development, Fadil Ismajli, to discuss on possibilities and areas of commercial cooperation Kosovo – Germany.

The focus of this cooperation was also the TPP “Kosova e Re” Project, and the delegation, escorted by the Minister, visited the facilities of TPP Kosovo B, and were provided information on generation capacities and challenges this power plant faces.

As a result of this visit, the Kosovo-German Business Association will soon organize a study visit for a number of Kosovo engineers to Germany, to visit ALSTOM Company, and familiarize with the latest energy generation technologies.

Both parties have confirmed their readiness for a close cooperation with the aim of enhancing Kosovo’s economic development.
