Prishtina, 06 February 2013 – Deputy Minister of Economic Development Ramadan Hasani met today with a delegation of Bujanoc municipality, headed by the Deputy Mayor of Municipality of Bujanoc, Nexhat Behluli.

Deputy Minister Hasani expressed his readiness to support and assist the citizens of three municipalities with Albanian majority, with special emphasis on border insurance policies and placement of products from these three municipalities in the Kosovo market. “We understand the problems faced by Albanian-majority municipalities, and we are looking into minimizing this tariff through the Kosovo Insurance Bureau,” said Deputy Minister Hasani.

Number two of MED said that the ministry will remain seriously engaged in ensuring the placement of products from these three municipalities in the Kosovo market.

“As to the placement of products from three Albanian-majority municipalities in the Kosovo market, we will remain engaged and assist them through our meetings with KBA and KCC, as well as with Kosovo businessmen,” said Deputy Minister Hasani.

On the other hand, Nexhat Behluli, Deputy Major of Bujanoc Municipality, said that citizens of Albanian-majority municipalities are facing a grave political and economic situation, which is causing their displacement from the area.
