Minister Beqaj is not part of Kosovo’s delegation to United Nations

Prishtina, 19 September 2012 – The Minister of Economic Development, Besim Beqaj, is not part of the delegation of Republic of Kosovo attending the annual session of the United Nations General Assembly, as was presented by a number of local media.

Minister Beqaj will visit the United States of America to take part in the Investors’ Conference, which will be held in Washington on 24 September 2012, and is organized by the Ministry of Economic Development, Ministry of Trade and Industry and the American Chamber of Commerce in Kosovo.

During this visit, Minister Beqaj will hold meetings with senior representatives of the American State Department, World Bank, Department of Energy and Department of Mines.

Also, meetings are envisaged with USAID representatives, while the Minister will also conduct a presentation at the SAIS center, which operates under the auspices of John Hopkins University in Washington.
