Minister Ismajli met with Italian Ambassador, Michael Louis Giffoni

Prishtina, 29.05.2013 – Minister of Economic Development, Fadil Ismajli, had an introductory meeting with the Italian Ambassador in Kosovo, Michael Louis Giffoni, where they discussed on the recent economic developments in the country and MED priorities.

On this occasion, Minister Ismajli thanked ambassador Giffoni for the support of the Italian government to Kosovo, and informed the Ambassador on the MED focus during his tenure, emphasizing that sustainable economic development with a development of the energy sector is the top priority.

Ismajli said that particular support shall be put on the ongoing implementation of projects and improvement of the business environment and services of POEs shall be another focus of his engagement.

From his part, the Italian Ambassador in Prishtina, Michael Louis Giffoni, congratulated Minister Ismajli for his appointment, and reiterated the continuous support of Italy for Kosovo, with particular emphasis on economic development.
