Prishtina, October 1, 2026 – Two American companies have submitted bids for the design and construction of the batteries, and the evaluation is now ongoing, with the aim of starting construction next year.

With a capacity of 340 MWh in Istog and Ferizaj, we are approaching the realization of one of the largest investments in the energy sector in recent decades.

The project is part of the $236.7 million Compact Program, co-financed by the USA through MCC and the Government of Kosovo.
