Minister of Economy Artane Rizvanolli participated in the roundtable discussion titled “How can Kosovo attract German investors to upcoming renewable energy auctions?” organized by the German-Kosovar Business Association within the project “Support for the Partnership for Climate and Energy Transition” funded by GIZ.

In her opening remarks, Minister Rizvanolli outlined the progress made so far in the renewable energy auction process, emphasizing the importance of creating a competitive, transparent, and predictable market for investors.

During the discussion, Minister Rizvanolli addressed the progress of the initial solar and wind energy auctions, the lessons learned during these processes, plans for future auctions, and opportunities to strengthen cooperation and boost German investor interest in Kosovo’s energy sector.

In this context, she highlighted the importance of cooperation with Germany and the role of private investment in accelerating the development of new renewable energy capacities and advancing the country’s energy objectives.

The roundtable brought together representatives from public institutions, private sector, international community, civil society, and field experts, while the discussion also served as preparation for the German-Kosovar Economic Forum.
