Minister Rizvanolli received the Ambassador of France, Marie-Christine Butel

Prishtina, April 28, 2022 – The Minister of Economy, Artane Rizvanolli hosted a meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of France to Kosovo, Marie-Christine Butel, and the representatives of the French Development Agency (AFD), which involved discussions on the energy situation in Kosovo and the needs in the field of energy.

During the meeting, AFD representatives Olivier Grandvoinet, Valentin Benoit and Mirela Mata presented the AFD’s scope in the Western Balkans, in particular energy sector projects with a focus on renewable energy sources.

Minister Rizvanolli informed that they have discussed that a potential cooperation would relate to the ambitions of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo towards decarbonization and diversification of the energy production.
