Geological Service of Kosovo and University of Mitrovica “Isa Boletini” sign a Cooperation Agreement

Prishtina, 22.04.2022 – To establish cooperation between the University of Mitrovica “Isa Boletini” namely the Faculty of Geosciences and the Ministry of Economy, Deputy Executive Director of the Geological Service of Kosovo (GSK), Luan Morina, and Dean of the Faculty of Geosciences of the University of Mitrovica “Isa Boletini”, Naser Peci, today signed a Cooperation Agreement.

The aim of this Cooperation Agreement signed between the GSK and the Faculty of Geosciences, is to allocate premises within the Faculty of Geosciences to create conditions for the placement and operation of laboratory equipment of the Geological Service of Kosovo and to allocate premises within campus of the University “Isa Boletini” in Mitrovica for the construction of a facility to place and preserve samples/nuclei from geological activities.

This Agreement also sets out the manner of mutual use of laboratory equipment of the Geological Service of Kosovo and the Faculty of Geosciences and organization of various scientific conferences for the purpose of promoting the mining sector.

Heads of both institutions are responsible for the progress of this Agreement so that both parties monitor and ensure the implementation of the Agreement in question.
