MEE donates an armored vehicle to the Kosovo Police

Prishtina, 20.10.2020 – The Secretary General of the Ministry of Economy and Environment (MEE), Fatos Qerimi handed over today an armored vehicle to the Special Operations Unit of the Kosovo Police.

At the donation ceremony of the vehicle “Mercedes G”, Qerim said he was happy that, on behalf of MEE, he is donating this vehicle to the Kosovo Police, and wished that this vehicle be used only for good occasions.

Major Bekim Bislimi, Chief of the Police Operations Unit in Mitrovica, said he was happy to receive this gift, who said that their commitment is important and that this vehicle will be of great importance for the performance of operational tasks.

ROSU Chief of Operations in Mitrovica, Fatmir Balaj informed the MEE team about the importance and tireless work performed by this unit in maintaining the rule of law in the Republic of Kosovo.
