Prishtina, 06.10.2016 – Deputy Minister of Economic Development, Besa Zogaj-Gashi, and her associates, had an official visit in Podgorica and met the Deputy Minister of Information Society and Telecommunication, Ratka Strugar.

During the meeting, the Deputy Minister Zogaj Gashi informed her counterpart Stugar on the initiative of MED for a joint project in the area of ICT, with a special emphasis on women in ICT, which aims to economically empower women, namely enhance the level of employment of women in this sector.

Another topic of discussion was the WOW Project, supported by the World Bank, which aims to increase the participation of women in online work.

From her part, Deputy Minister Strugar said she was very happy with this initiative and expressed her readiness for bilateral and regional cooperation between the two countries.

The meeting was held in a constructive atmosphere, and it was concluded that such an initiative is of particular importance and would open way to the countries in the region for a joint project.
