Prishtina, 09.03.2012 – The Deputy-Minister of Economic Development, Mr. Ramadan Hasani, visited today Bast-Trade Company, in order to express institutional encouragement for their further operations, after the fire that damaged its premises days ago.

During this event, Deputy-Minister Hasani said that the purpose of the visit was to encourage this company to continue the good work after the misfortunate event, claiming that the Ministry of Economic Development is committed to find forms and for overcoming the situation faced by this company. “MED will remain committed to finding ways to overcome this situation. We are all well aware that such unfortunate events do happen, therefore, I wish to encourage the representatives of Bast-Trade Company to maintain their operations and preserve the market share,” said Deputy-Minister Hasani.

On the other hand, Basri Statovci, Bast-Trade representative, expressed his appreciation for Deputy-Minister Hasani’s visit and for the interest MED showed on the event. According to Statovci, the damage caused by the fires exceeds 1 million Euro. “Caused damage exceeds 1 million Euro. However, the important fact is that none of the Company’s employees were hurt by the fire,” said Mr. Statovci.

Noteworthy, Bast-Trade Company hires 300 employees.
