Minister Rizvanolli speaks at the Kosovo – Luxembourg Finance for Impact Forum
Prishtina, 30 September 2026 – Minister of Economy, Artane Rizvanolli, participated in the Kosovo – Luxembourg Finance for Impact Forum, which focused on mobilizing private investment in Kosovo and strengthening the financial sector to support the financing of the green transition.
The forum discussed investment opportunities in the energy sector, the development of sustainable finance, as well as the need to mobilize capital and diversify sources of financing to support projects in the field of energy transition, decarbonization and addressing climate change.
In her speech, minister Rizvanolli said that over the past five years, work has been done to lay the foundations for the transformation of the energy sector. She emphasized that this work is guided by two central priorities: expanding domestic renewable energy production and more efficient use of energy throughout the economy.
Minister Rizvanolli highlighted the progress achieved in the development of solar and wind energy projects through auctions, the energy storage batteries project, investments in the renovation of public buildings and private homes, as well as the subsidization of over 43,000 households for energy efficiency equipment and measures.
“Kosovo already offers an attractive, transparent and predictable market for investments in the green energy sector”, said minister Rizvanolli.
The forum was also attended by Minister of Finance, Hekuran Murati, Head of Mission of the Embassy of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg in Kosovo, Eric Dietz, as well as other representatives of the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo, the financial sector, the business community and experts in the relevant fields.
