Prizren, 02.05.2025 – Acting Minister of Economy, Artane Rizvanolli, participated in the launch of the Centre for Excellence in Digital Innovation “Digital Innovation Gateway for Kosovo – DIG-4K”, at the Innovation and Training Park (ITP) in Prizren, which will be the first centre of its kind in Kosovo and will be part of the European Digital Innovation Hubs Network.

In her address, Minister Rizvanolli emphasised that DIG-4K will develop digital capacities across various sectors, by providing the necessary support primarily to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and public-sector organisations, and will assist in the uptake of advanced digital technologies, particularly in areas such as e-commerce, fintech, health, education and agriculture. The centre will also offer training, access to advanced technology, and innovative solutions in fields such as cloud computing, cyber security and artificial intelligence.

“As of today, the DIG-4K centre enables enterprises to apply for support for the development of strategies for digital transformation. Enterprises will be able to benefit from access to technology laboratories, professional support and digital solutions tailored to their needs”, emphasised Rizvanolli.

DIG-4K is co-financed by the European Commission through the European Digital Innovation Hubs Network and the Government of Kosovo, Ministry of Economy.
