Prishtina, 04.01.2024 – The Minister of Economy, Artane Rizvanolli, hosted a meeting with the Ambassador of Turkey to Kosovo, Sabri Tunç Angili. The discussions delved into economic relations between the Republic of Kosovo and Turkey, and our shared interest in fostering further collaboration in the coming years were discussed.

Minister Rizvanolli appreciated Turkey’s support for the economic development of our country and presented to Ambassador Angili the priorities of the Ministry of Economy in the field of renewable energy sources, namely in wind and solar energy.

During the meeting, it was emphasized that Turkey has adopted its energy strategy, which is similar to that of Kosovo in integrating new solar and wind capacities, which gives us the opportunity to exchange experiences.

On his part, Ambassador Angili congratulated Minister Rizvanolli and the people of Kosovo for the visa liberalization, which came into effect on 1^st of January, and commended the Minister for her commitment to the energy sector.
