Prizren, 22.042024 – Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Economy, Getoar Mjeku, accompanied by the Director of the Information and Communication Technology Department, Agim Kukaj, and representatives of the Kosovo Research and Education Network (KREN), visited the Primary and Lower Secondary School “Dy Dëshmorët”, in Piranë, Prizren.

This school is among the first primary schools where the KREN network, a project of the Ministry of Economy for the digitalization of educational and research institutions in Kosovo, has been activated. The school now has full coverage with the latest Wi-Fi 6 technology in all classrooms and other school premises.

During this visit, Deputy Minister Mjeku stated that the Government of the Republic of Kosovo prioritizes creating the best possible learning conditions in all schools in Kosovo, equipping them with necessary digital technology for students and teachers.

Meanwhile, the school’s director, Besnik Tarjani, expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Economy for investing in the school’s technological infrastructure.

Similar investments have been made in other schools in Kosovo, aiming to provide modern telecommunication infrastructure in all schools in the country.
