Pristina, 26.03.2024 – Kosovo Energy Corporation (KEK) has signed an agreement for the implementation of 100 MW solar park project, in the amount of 103.7 million euros.

Out of the total amount of 103.7 million euros:

10 million euros are from KEK’s own funds;

33 million euros are loan from the European Investment Bank (EIB), as per the financial agreement with the Ministry of Finance;

29 million euros are loan from the German Development Bank KfW;

31.7 million euros are grant through the Western Balkans Investment Framework (WBIF).

Minister of Economy Artane Rizvanolli emphasized that as we aim for a sustainable energy transition, we cannot leave KEK, as the main enterprise in our energy sector, behind. Instead, we aim to transform it to adapt to a more modern and innovative energy sector.
