Prishtina, 26.07.2024 – Deputy Minister of Economy, Getoar Mjeku, paid tribute on the 13^th anniversary of the fall of the Hero of Kosovo, Enver Zymeri.

Deputy Minister Mjeku, along with other dignitaries of the Republic of Kosovo, paid their respects at the Memorial of the Fallen Police Officers in the Line of Duty.

In honor of the 23 police officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty, August 26 is commemorated as the Memorial Day of the Fallen Police Officers.

Thirteen years ago, police officer Enver Zymeri fell while defending the territorial integrity of Kosovo during an operation of the Kosovo Police in the northern part of the country.
