The Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Kosovo, Getoar Mjeku, received in a meeting the Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates, Yousof Naser Abdulla Albuainain Almazrouei.

This meeting discussed bilateral relations between the Republic of Kosovo and the United Arab Emirates, focusing particularly on opportunities for deepening economic cooperation and promoting strategic investments, on the potential that Kosovo offers to foreign investors, especially in the priority sectors of the economy and energy.

Deputy Minister Mjeku emphasized the importance of cooperation with the United Arab Emirates, appreciating the interest of this country in investing in Kosovo, as well as its experience in developing sustainable economic and energy projects. He underlined the commitment of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo to creating a favourable climate for investments, through reforms and supportive policies for foreign investors.

For his part, Almazrouei expressed the readiness of the United Arab Emirates to continue and advance cooperation with Kosovo, emphasizing the interest in exploring concrete investment opportunities, especially in the energy sector and projects with an impact on the country’s economic development.
