Information session held with businesses on the Clean Energy Grant Scheme
Pristina, 10.10.2025 –The first information session with businesses about the Clean Energy Grant Scheme was held, where it was announced that the application on e-Kosova was opened today.
Businesses were informed that the support will be worth up to EUR 25 thousand per business, while the project is funded by the Government of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg implemented by KIESA/MIET, in partnership with the Ministry of Economy (ME) and LuxDev, the Luxembourg Agency for Development Cooperation.
During this session, Zef Dedaj, Acting Director General of KIESA, Gent Berisha, Acting Head of the SME Projects Sector at KIESA, and Mirlinda Bajrami, Senior Data Officer at the Energy Department of the Ministry of Economy, provided detailed information to businesses about the Clean Energy Grant Scheme and the relevant guidelines.
Representatives of businesses in Kosovo were interested in learning more about the call, asking various questions about the benefits they will receive from the grant and how to apply.
The Clean Energy Grants Scheme is implemented through three separate public calls, which include the following measures:
Measure 1: Support for solar energy systems and battery systems for electricity storage.
Measure 2: Support for energy efficiency measures in business buildings.
Measure 3: Support for equipment that reduces energy consumption in production lines.
Within this scheme, businesses will be supported in:
- Solar systems for electricity production,
- Solar water heating systems,
- Energy efficiency through investments in building insulation,
- Batteries for solar PV systems, as well as
- Frequency converters to increase the efficiency of equipment that manufacturers already have in use.
The Clean Energy Grants Scheme will provide:
- up to EUR 20,000 for a single measure,
- up to EUR 25,000 for combined measures.
In addition to financing, the scheme will also provide capacity building and technical assistance to beneficiaries, ensuring that investments are sustainable and long-term.
This scheme is financed with a budget of EUR 1,000,000.00 by the Government of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and is being implemented by KIESA/MINT in partnership with the Ministry of Economy, and LuxDev, the Luxembourg Agency for Development Cooperation.
