Skopje, 03.10.2025 – The Caretaker Deputy Minister of Economy, Getoar Mjeku, represented Kosovo at the Digital Summit held in Skopje, organized by the Regional Cooperation Council.

In his speech, Deputy Minister Mjeku spoke about Kosovo’s achievements in broadband network expansion and the digitalization of government services.

He also stated that, together with the ministers of the six Western Balkan countries, they agreed on digital wallets and trusted services interoperable across the region, administrative simplifications in line with European legislation, promotion of infrastructure investments, public awareness efforts and cheaper roaming within the region and the EU.
