Prishtina, 22 October 2010 – The Minister of Energy and Mining invited all key stakeholders of the energy sector of the country, MEF, KOSTT, KEK, and ERO, to a meeting to discuss the serious problems caused by the intrusion of the Serbian transmission operator (EMS) with the energy system of the Republic of Kosovo.

Prishtina, 19 October 2010 – The Minister of Energy and Mining (MEM) of the Republic of Kosovo signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the British Chamber of Commerce in Kosovo, aimed at obtaining support for developing mining resources of Kosovo, and assets of Trepca, and in attracting investors to this sector.

Prishtina, 1 September 2010 – A delegation from Kosovo, chaired by the Minister of Energy and Mining, Justina Shiroka- Pula, consisting of the Deputy Minister of MESP, Idriz Vehapi, Managing Director of the Trepca Complex, and the Director of the Environmental Agency, Ilir Morina, is taking part in the Second International Congress on Mines and Environmental Mitigation, sponsored by the German Government, being held in the Congress Centre in Dresden, Germany.
