Prishtina, 19 March 2013 – The Government of Republic of Kosovo and the Council of Ministers of Republic of Albania signed today in Prishtina a Memorandum of Cooperation on the sphere of Information and Communication Technology (ICT).

Prishtina, 18 March 2013 – I wish to inform the public that there will be no increase of electricity prices, said the Minister of Economic Development Besim Beqaj today in a press conference, thus excluding any possibility of increased energy tariffs, as the Government withdrew from its profits.

Prishtina, 14 March 2013 – The Government Privatization Committee for PTK and the Ministry of Economic Development, as part of this Committee, have undertaken all necessary legal actions to protect the rights of employees of both fixed and mobile telephony sectors, the latter undergoing the final stage of the privatization of 75% of its shares.

Prishtina, 08.03.2013 – Minister of Economic Development met today with Prof. Dr. Friedbert Pfluger, Director of the EU Center for Energy and Resource Security (EUCERS), former President of the Bundestag Committee on EU Affairs, and Consultant of renowned clean energy technology companies, accompanied by the Ambassador of the Republic of Kosovo in Germany, Skender Xhakaliu, and Deputy Ambassador of Germany in Kosovo, Matthias Kiesler.

Prishtina, 08.03.2013 Minister of Economic Development, Besim Beqaj, met today with the Foreign Trade Advisor of the French Ministry of Economy and Finance, Julien Roche, who was accompanied by Maryse Daviet, Ambassador of France in Prishtina.

Prishtina, 06.03.2013 – Compared to 2010, there is an increase in the profit of Publicly Owned Enterprises by 11.8 percent, namely there is a better performance, said the Minister of Economic Development, Besim Beqaj before the Assembly Committee on Public Finance Oversight, presenting the Report on Central POE performance in 2011.
