Prizren, 11 January 2023 – The Minister of Economy, Artane Rizvanolli together with the Resident Representative of UNDP in Kosovo, Maria Suokko, visited today the “Abdyl Frashëri” School in Prizren as part of the “Save Energy” campaign, to talk with the students about the importance and the best ways to save energy.

During the conversation, Minister Rizvanolli told the students about the importance of saving energy and they talked about the ways in which students save energy, and what actions they take to protect the environment.

In the meeting Minister Rizvanolli and Director Suokko were accompanied by students from the model school “Faik Konica” in Prishtina, who for two years in a row, have conducted on their own initiative, their energy saving campaign. They presented to their peers what actions they have undertaken to save energy in their school.

The students, together with representatives of the Ministry of Economy and UNDP, have carried out a number of games and activities for energy saving and efficiency in order to raise awareness.
