Pristina, 30.01.2023 – The Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Environment, Spatial Planning and Infrastructure are in the process of establishing a working group for the National Energy and Climate Plan 2025-2030 in accordance with the requirements of the Energy Community Secretariat.

The National Energy and Climate Plan 2025-2030 is a key document that includes key objectives and policies to address climate change and promote a sustainable energy future. This plan also includes measures that will be taken to achieve the energy and climate targets approved in the Energy Community, through improving energy efficiency, enhancing energy security and energy market, and developing renewable energy sources.

Through this public call, all representatives of civil society, whose scope includes energy and climate, are invited to participate in the meeting organized by the Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Environment, Spatial Planning and Infrastructure, to discuss about the role and engagement of civil society in the drafting of NECP.

The meeting will be held on 3 February 2023, at the building of the Ministry of Economy from 10:00 to 12:00, IV Floor, and confirmation of participation in the meeting should be sent by e-mail to: adnan.preniqi@rks-gov.net
