Prishtina, 22.09.2023 – Following the opening of the Public Call for Heating Devices Subsidy, the information campaign for citizens continued in an open setting in front of the Ministry of Economy (ME).

The Minister of Economy, Artane Rizvanolli, along with the Representative of the European Union Office in Kosovo (EU), Alessandro Bianciardi, members of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo, Mimoza Kusari – Lila, Driton Hyseni, and Jeta Statovci, the team of the Ministry of Economy, and field experts, talked with interested citizens about the application and the most efficient heating methods and electricity saving.

With the measures announced today with the support of the European Union, the Ministry of Economy aims to support 20 thousand households in improving the efficiency and saving electricity in order to enable the reduction of expenditure on energy bills.

The Minister expressed her satisfaction and enthusiasm for all those citizens who expressed their interest in being equipped with efficient devices, as well as those who have benefited from previous subsidies.

All families can benefit from this Call, while special support has been given to families under social assistance (category I & II) as well as single parents.
