Gjakova, 10.02.2023 – The Minister of Economy, Artane Rizvanolli, accompanied by the Deputy Minister, Getoar Mjeku, and representatives of the Cabinet, visited the Regional Water Company “Gjakova”.

The purpose of the visit was to see closes the work and discuss the performance, challenges and achievements of the company together with representatives of the Management and the Board.

According to the representatives of the RWC “Gjakova”, there was an increase in production to 267 cubic meters, and an increase in the collection rate to 104% over the past year. Minister Rizvanolli congratulated the company on its achivement in the previous year and encouraged it to intensify efforts to enhance the performance, especially on reducing technical losses.

Minister Rizvanolli assured the company of the support of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo for innovative and profitable projects for the company, as well as the enhancement of services for the citizens of Gjakova, Rahovec and parts of Prizren, covered by this company.
