Prishtina, 29.01.2024 – The Minister of Economy, Artane Rizvanolli, met with bank representatives in Kosovo, with whom she discussed energy efficiency subsidy programs.

During the meeting, Minister Rizvanolli informed them of the current call opened by the Ministry of Economy for subsidizing efficient heating equipment for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), which will be open until 31.01.2024, including thermal pumps, efficient air conditioners (high-efficiency inverter-type air-air thermal pump), biomass boilers (wood, pellets, briquettes), and individual biomass stoves.

She also introduced the measures of the new call to be opened in early February for household and business consumers for subsidizing photovoltaic solar systems, while the call for thermal solar systems for heating sanitary water will be available only for businesses (MSMEs).

These measures aim to increase efficiency and reduce operating expenses for businesses, which contribute to their development.

During the meeting, bank representatives expressed satisfaction with the subsidy measures and expressed readiness to cooperate with micro, small and medium-sized enterprises for efficient heating equipment, assisting in sustainable development.

Representatives from NLB Bank, ProCredit Bank, Raiffeisen Bank, BPB Bank, ZIRAAT Bank, Banka Ekonomike, ISBANK, Pri Bank, Banka Kombëtare Tregtare and Credins Bank participated in the meeting.
