Gjakova and Peja, 10.02. 2023 – On February 10, 2023, Minister of Economy Artane Rizvanolli visited the “Yll Morina” school in Gjakova and “Dardania” school in Peja as part of the “Save Energy” campaign, implemented in schools across the country in cooperation with UNDP.

The aim of the campaign is to increase awareness and provide concrete information to students about the importance of energy saving, efficiency, and environmental protection for the country and the planet.

During the visit to the “Yll Morina” school, Minister Rizvanolli also visited a fair showcasing the works of students, many of which focused on different forms of energy generation.

In addition to discussions, the students played the Energy Efficiency Bingo game, which teaches them the most efficient ways to carry out daily activities while protecting resources and helping families and the country.

Educating students on the importance of energy saving is crucial in creating a future generation of active and environmentally conscious citizens. This will have a long-term impact on reducing energy consumption and promoting efficiency and sustainability in the sector.
