Prishtina, 06.02.2023 – The Ministry of Economy held a meeting today with representatives of NGOs regarding their inclusion in the drafting process of the National Energy and Climate Plan (NECP) 2025-2030.

During the meeting, the representatives of the Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Environment, Spatial Planning and Infrastructure updated the representatives of NGOs about preparations made for the initiation of the drafting process of the document and the role of NGOs and their official representation in this process.

In the Joint Working Group for the Drafting of the NECP, established by Decision no. 354, dated 27.01.2023, of the Ministry of Economy, agreed with the Ministry of Environment, Spatial Planning and Infrastructure, two representative members from NGOs have been appointed.

The representatives of the NGOs participating in the meeting decided to nominate Rinora Gojani from the Balkan Green Foundation and Liron Gjocaj from INDEP to the Group for Drafting the NECP.
