Prishtina, 05.03.2024 – The German-Kosovar Economic Chamber (GKEC) held a workshop last week as part of the Network for Clean Energy Business (N4CEB).

Key topics discussed included: Law on Renewable Energy Sources and Network Connection Issues, where in the first panel the focus of discussions was the Law on Renewable Energy Sources, which has passed the first reading in the Assembly, and was represented by the Ministry of Economy (MoE) through Besiana Qorraj Berisha, Head of the RES Projects Administrative Support Division.

During the discussions, participants had the opportunity to engage with the ME representative, responsible for drafting the law, as well as with the representative of the MESPI and an independent energy expert.

In the second panel on the Network Connection Issues, the expansion plan of KOSTT directly related to the Energy Strategy was presented, along with discussions on the challenges faced by businesses.

This workshop was opened by the Executive Director of the GKEC, Nora Hasani, and German Deputy Ambassador Matthias Conrad.
