Prishtina, 11.10.2018 – The Government of the Republic of Kosovo is dedicated to following and implementing all its developmental and economic policies. Based on the Kosovo Energy Strategy 2017-2026 and the National Development Strategy, Kosovo needs new electricity generation capacities. Thus, we are obliged to implement and materialize our country’s strategies to offer the country and its economy and people prosperity and security in all spheres.

Prishtinë, 04.10.2018 – Minister of Economic Development Valdrin Lluka attended today the reception organized by the Government Cabinet for the senior delegation of the German Government, headed by Thomas Silberhorn, State Secretary in the Ministry of Defence, and Maria Flachsbardh, State Secretary in the Ministry of Economic Cooperation, to mark the Germany Unification Day.

Prishtina, 24.09.2018 – Minister of Economic Development Valdrin Lluka met today with the Japanese Ambassador in Vienna, and non-resident Ambassador in Prishtina, Kiyoshu Koinuma, and the First Secretary of this Embassy, Mitsunori Ogasawara, to discuss on the overall economic developments in the country, with special emphasis on sectors covered by the Ministry.

Prishtina, 20.09.2018 – Kosovo has the Law on Strategic Investors, which protects potential investors and gives them guarantees for their investments; we have also signed memoranda with numerous EU countries, and such memoranda play an important role in the sphere of investments, as they grant a more comfortable position for investors in Kosovo, said Minister of Economic Development Valdrin Lluka.

Prishtina, 19.09.2018 – Minister of Economic Development Valdrin Lluka notified the public that the Ministry he heads has undertaken all measures to ensure that licenses for investments in Renewable Energy Sources are granted in an open and transparent manner, by means of public auction, to avoid problems caused by licenses with waiting lists.

Prishtina, 13.09.2018 - Minister of Economic Development, Valdrin Lluka, and Minister of Infrastructure, Pal Lekaj, as representatives of the Government of Republic of Kosovo, attended the funeral of former UN Secretary General, Kofi Annan, organized in his home country – Ghana.
