Prishtina, 14 December 2010 – The Minister of Economy and Finance Ahmet Shala, Minister of Energy and Mining Justina Shiroka – Pula and the Swiss Ambassador in Prishtina Lokas Berliger, signed an amended Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of the Republic of Kosovo and the Government of the Swiss Confederation, on the Gjilan Transformer Station.

Prishtinë, 25 November 2010 – The Ministry of Energy and Mining signed a memorandum of understanding with the German public enterprise, Laustizer und Mitteldeutsche Bergbau-Verëaltungsgesellschaft mbH (LMBV International), in an effort to adopt the German model to treat environmental and social problems caused by mining activities.

Prishtina, 23 November 2010 - Ministry of Energy and Mining (MEM) signed today a memorandum of understanding with the Central Election Commission, in which it commits to undertaking all measures necessary to ensure sufficient and uninterrupted energy supply to all polling centers and ancillary facilities during the entire electoral process.

Prishtina, 22 October 2010 – The Minister of Energy and Mining invited all key stakeholders of the energy sector of the country, MEF, KOSTT, KEK, and ERO, to a meeting to discuss the serious problems caused by the intrusion of the Serbian transmission operator (EMS) with the energy system of the Republic of Kosovo.

Prishtina, 19 October 2010 – The Minister of Energy and Mining (MEM) of the Republic of Kosovo signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the British Chamber of Commerce in Kosovo, aimed at obtaining support for developing mining resources of Kosovo, and assets of Trepca, and in attracting investors to this sector.
