Prishtina, 10.03.2015 - The Minister of Economic Development, Blerand Stavileci, and his Albanian counterpart, Minister of Energy and Industry of Albania, Damian Gjiknuri, accompanied by heads of transmission system operators and energy regulators of both countries, visited SS 400/220 - Kosovo B in Obiliq, to be closely informed on the works implemented for the interconnection line between Kosovo and Albania.
Prishtina, 10.03.2015 – Both Kosovo and Albania are aware of the importance of the agreement on the establishment of a common market for the energy sector, which is essential element aand a prerequisite for economic development of both countries, said the Minister of Economic Development, Blerand Stavileci.
Prishtina, 10.03.2015 - After the establishment of the common electricity market between Kosovo and Albania, working groups are established to assist the work of the Steering Committee. Initially a working group on legal/regulatory issues, working group on technical/operational issues and working group on commercial issues were established, to be composed of various experts from both countries.
