An Information Session on the Clean Energy Grant Scheme – Phase II was Held
Prishtina, 24 July 2026 – The Ministry of Economy, in cooperation with the Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship, Trade and Innovation (MIETI), the Kosovo Investment and Enterprise Support Agency (KIESA), and the Luxembourg Development Cooperation Agency (LuxDev), held today an information session for businesses regarding the Clean Energy Grant Scheme – Phase II.
During the session, representatives of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises were informed about the application criteria, the required documentation, and the procedures for benefiting from financial support under the scheme, which has 880 thousand euros available for investments in clean energy and energy efficiency.
During the discussion, participants had the opportunity to receive answers to their questions and additional clarifications regarding the application process.
Micro, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises with primary or secondary activities in production and processing, as well as companies operating in the liberalised electricity market and carrying out activities in these sectors, are eligible to apply.
The grant scheme is implemented through three separate calls, which include the following measures:
- Measure 1: Support for solar energy systems and batteries for energy storage systems;
- Measure 2: Support for energy efficiency measures in business buildings;
- Measure 3: Support for equipment that reduces energy consumption in production lines.
Businesses may apply for each of the three measures (Measure 1, 2 or 3) individually, with a maximum support of up to 20,000 € for each individual measure. Measures 1 and 2 may each be combined with Measure 3; however, in this case, the total support may not exceed 25,000 €.
