Prishtina, 21.11.2025 – The Ministry of Economy (MoE) held the retirement ceremony of the Director of the Department of Budget and Finance, Agim Thaçi, following a long and dedicated career in public administration.

During 21 years of professional engagement, Mr. Thaçi has made a valuable contribution to strengthening financial processes within the Ministry of Economy. With professionalism, integrity and continuous dedication, he has been a key figure in developing and implementing good financial practices, directly impacting the institution’s effectiveness and transparency.

On this occasion, the Caretaker Minister, Artane Rizvanolli and the Secretary General, Leonita Shabani-Mullarama, on behalf of the Ministry of Economy and all colleagues, thanked Mr. Thaçi and expressed deep gratitude for his tireless work and professionalism shown for more than two decades.

Mr. Thaçi was awarded with a certificate of appreciation for his significant contribution to the MoE’s finance sector.
