Minister Nitaj met with MCC Director Sarah Olmstead

Prishtina, 26.01.2021 – The Minister of Economy and Environment (MEA), Muharrem Nitaj received in a meeting today the director of the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), Sarah Olmstead.

In this meeting it was discussed about the first works of the Working Group for the gas sector in the Republic of Kosovo.

Minister Nitaj thanked the director of MCC for the support that the United States of America is giving to Kosovo in the implementation of development projects through the MCC programme.

Mrs. Sarah Olmstead promised the support of the USA in the implementation of energy projects, based on the energy strategy of the Republic of Kosovo.

This was the first meeting after the establishment of the Working Group for the gas sector in the Republic of Kosovo.
