National Museum of Mines and Minerals – TREPÇA

1. Following are the tasks and responsibilities:

  1. Exploration, preservation, conservation, restoration, treatment, study, inventory and informative cataloguing of objects, minerals/crystals and documentations of the Museum.
  2. Determination of values and their documentation in accordance with scientific criteria.
  3. Registration and preparation of passports for all items minerals/crystals and existing documents, based on the processed data.
  4. Registration and inventory of all changes in ownership of minerals/crystals, maps and other items in the Museum;
  5. Collection of materials and field explorations. Field exploration is conducted in accordance with the applicable legislation.

2. The Head of the National Museum of Crystals and Minerals – TREPÇA reports to the General Director of Kosovo Geological Agency.

3. The State Museum of Crystals and Minerals – TREPÇA, is at the same structural line with Directorates.

4. The number of employees in the National Museum of Crystals and Minerals- TREPÇA, is eight (8).
