Prishtinë, 28.03.2017 – Today, Minister of Economic Development Blerand Stavileci accompanied the delegation of World Bank Executive Directors in their visit to Kosova A and Kosova B power plants and Sibovc mining area as well as the area where the Kosova e Re power plant is to be constructed.

During their visit to the PP and mining area, the World Bank delegation was informed about the current situation of energy generation capacities, their operation and work that is being done to keep them operational.

Otherwise, Stavileci also had working meetings with this delegation, where he informed them about reforms undertaken by the Kosovo Government for development of energy sector as a precondition for sustainable development, for which he received their full support.

The WB Delegation is in a two day visit in Kosovo to discuss with the Kosovo Government and other stakeholders on Kosovo developmental priorities, with special emphasis on reform of energy sector and its integration in the regional energy market.
