Prishtina, 26.12.2023 – The Deputy Minister of Economy, Getoar Mjeku, the Mayor of Hani i Elezit Municipality, Mehmet Ballazhi, and the Chief Executive Officer of the Regional Water Supply Company “Bifurkacioni”, Jeton Shabani, inaugurated the water factory in Dimcë, Hani i Elezit.

The water factory in Dimcë of Hani i Elezit has become operational, as it has been out of operation since its construction in 2010.

The implementation of works was financially supported by the cooperation program between the Governments of Kosovo and Switzerland and by the Municipality of Hani i Elezit.

The Rehabilitation Project of the factory, amounting at 453 thousand euros, provides drinking water for 5 thousand residents of this area.

The factory has a capacity of around 20 liters per second and is now transferred under the management of the Regional Water Supply Company “Bifurkacioni”.
