Prishtina, 14 March 2014 – The Minister of Economic Development, Fadil Ismajli, met today with the head of the USAID Mission in Kosovo, Maureen Shauket, to discuss on the economic situation in the country, with special emphasis on projects implemented in the spheres covered by MED.

Mrs. Shauket expressed interest on the current phase of projects in the sphere of energy, mining and other sectors in which USAID is involved and has been giving valuable contribution.

Minister Ismajli thanked Mrs. Shauket for the support that her institution provided and continues to provide to Kosovo, while expressing his high regard for USAID’s contribution to concrete projects that improve the quality of living for citizens.

Ismajli and Shauket praised the cooperation to date and showed willingness to intensify the cooperation further and to continue working with the same intensity in the future.
